Tajin seasoning is a powdered concoction made of ground chili peppers, salt, and dehydrated lime juice. I discovered this Mexican staple during a recent farmer's market trip where it was sprinkled on fresh sliced heirloom tomatoes...like salt-sprinkled tomatoes bumped up a notch with a bit of lemon and peppery kick! We like to sprinkle this zesty seasoning on top of popcorn, cucumber stalks, tomato slices, watermelon, and so much more. Yum!

I love tajin :)
I would recommend it sprinkled over jicama or mango with some lime juice mmm!
In Mexico they sell tamarind covered apples sprinkled with tajin: http://www.manoseideas.com/catalogo/normal/96.jpg

That is really cool, i have never heard of Tajin but I love eating slices of tomato with salt and can only think they will be better with this seasoning!

My husband is from Mexico and his favorite quick snack: popcorn sprinkled with lime juice and Tajín. To ensure you get a fresh bottle, be sure to check the date printed on the cap!
